Dentists
Dr Aris Psathopoulos qualified as dental surgeon in 2005 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. Having a dental background in his family, he has been shown a great interest in dentistry since his youth and at the same time an eager to continue his family tradition and upgrade his skills to the next level.
Dr Aris moved to UK over 10 years ago, for a life experience, but soon after he realized a new horizon where his dental expertise could get developed and flourished beyond original expectations.
Dr Aris is the clinical director of DentalShine. He has been fully concentrated at his role and he is also fascinated in upgrading his skills by attending at numerous dental courses and gets new ideas and techniques during the year. Dr Aris has got special interest in Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics. He challenges himself in every treatment in order to provide the best possible result. He believes that perfection can only be achieved if you accept that there is always potential for personal and professional improvement.
Dr Aris is also proud for his bonded family with his 2 children. He admits he can be taught so many things by his children, so he spends most of his free time with them. He plays football every week and he likes music concerts before or after a dinner.
Dr Margarita Vochaiti
Dr Ioannis Gonianakis qualified in 2011 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Athens, Greece and practiced General Dentistry at a busy private practice before relocating to the UK.
Ioannis joined a high street family practice north of the border where he enjoyed offering all aspects of dentistry. His passion for Aesthetics led him further study Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute. Furthermore, he is a certified provider of Cosmetic Adult Orthodontics including Invisalign and Facial Aesthetics with a focus on botulinum toxin and dermal fillers.
He has recently finished the Foundation Implant Dentistry course and is looking forward to expanding the provision of implant dentistry at the practice. Member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
Ioannis is a champion of prevention and his greatest satisfaction comes from addressing his patients’ needs, whether they be pain relief or cosmetic enhancement.
Having lived in Scotland for 3 years Ioannis now finds Greater London area quite warm and at the same time appreciates that it is our everyday positive attitude that keeps our hearts warm. He is enthusiastic about keeping fit and enjoys travelling around the world as much as a nice board game.
Implantologists
Dr Isavella Kontaxopoulou graduated in 2004 from the Dental School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. Since, she has followed a Specialty Training Programme in Prosthodontics, which is dedicated to replacing missing teeth with implants, crowns and bridges and dentures.
In 2006 she accomplished a Masters degree in Prosthetic Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute. She enjoys all aspects of restorative dentistry and, in particular, minimally invasive and adhesive techniques.
Isavella is a Clinical Teacher for dental students at King’s College in London.
In her spare time Isavella is a keen photographer and a 10k distance runner.
Dr Margarita Vochaiti (see above) also does implantology work at the practice.
Hygienist
Beata Lubik graduated from the University Of Technology in Poland with a Masters’s Degree in Marketing & Management in 2002. After a period of working in this field in Poland, she decided to pursue her interest in Dentistry and then she qualified as a dental hygienist from the University of Opole in 2014. Beata moved from Poland to the UK in 2015. Beata enjoys working with all our patients to help improve their oral hygiene and smile. She believes that effective communication with her patients is the most effective way to help them achieve excellent oral hygiene.
